Who we are
Biohack Peptide Tracker ("Biohack", "the App", "we", "us") is operated by Shummus Shah, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. Contact us at contact@biohacktracker.app.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if provided, your name. - Health and tracking data you choose to enter: compound/peptide names and categories, dose amounts and timings, injection sites, weight entries, dosing schedules, and cycle/titration plans. - Photos: images you choose to upload to your Photo Log (see "Photo storage" below). - App preferences: your weight unit and app theme selection. - Subscription status: whether you are on the Free or Premium plan. We do not collect your location or contacts, and we do not use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
2. Photo storage
Photos you add to your Photo Log are uploaded to secure cloud storage (provided by Supabase, see below), not stored only on your device. Each user's photos are kept in a private, access-controlled area that only your account can retrieve through the App, using time-limited links generated on demand. We do not view, use, or share your photos in the ordinary course of operating the App. As the App's operator we retain the technical ability to access stored data on our infrastructure — for example to provide support, investigate abuse, or comply with a legal obligation — but this is not part of normal operation. Deleting a photo in the App, or deleting your account, permanently removes it from our storage.
3. How we use your data
We use your data solely to operate the App: to store and display your dose, weight, and photo history, calculate estimated compound levels, schedule local reminders on your device, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
4. Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)
We process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (providing the App's features to you) and your consent (for optional features like photo uploads and notifications).
5. Who we share data with
- Supabase, our database, authentication, and file storage provider, which hosts your account, tracking data, and photos securely. - Apple and RevenueCat, to process Premium subscription purchases and verify your subscription status. Apple handles all payment details directly — we never see or store your card information. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your data. Your data may be processed on servers located outside the UK; where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are used.
6. Notifications
Dose reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through any third-party push notification service.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data — including photos — is permanently deleted from our systems.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can: - Edit your name, weight unit, and theme directly in the App. - Delete individual dose, weight, and photo entries in the App. - Delete your entire account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. - Contact us at contact@biohacktracker.app for any other request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
9. Children
The App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App.
